Bridge2 Solutions is searching for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the industry.  This person will be responsible for defining and implementing build and deployment processes, which includes managing artifact promotion through all environments.



  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in developing standards for DevOps tools, processes, and best practices. Perform hands-on implementation of the proposed solutions.
  • Implement scripts / automation tools and configure third party software to build, integrate, and deploy artifacts to various environments.
  • Independently identify SCM issues and work with technical leadership, and developers to propose, plan, and implement solutions.
  • Research, propose, and guide the implementation/adoption of any needed third party and/or custom software, scripts, and tools needed to support SCM needs.
  • Implement automation of build/deploy processes, environment migration, and reporting.
  • Perform any needed documentation, training, and guidance related to the Configuration Management process.



  • Passionate advocate of industry-recognized best practices of DevOps, Software Configuration Management (SCM), Continuous Integration (CI), Agile processes, and software development.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with SCM tools, processes, and build/release process automation and reporting. Tools include Chef, Rundeck, Gerrit/Git/Subversion, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory/Nexus, JIRA/Crucible/Fisheye.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and apply them to the current Configuration Management needs.
  • Strong *NIX scripting and skills.
  • Strong sys admin skills and a solid understanding of networking in *NIX environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills required; this position will work with Development, QA, Project Management and Operations Teams
  • Exposure or experience with Java is preferred.
